The project proposal envisages implementation of activities aiming to ensure support for improvement of animal species conservation status, reported in 'unfavorable-inadequate' conservation status during the Reporting under Article 17 of the Habitats Directive in 2013. This is the main objective of the project. The following specific objectives are set in order to contribute to the project’s main objective realization: Specific objective 1 is Improvement of the conservation status of species that have not been identified during the field studies under the project "Mapping and Determining the Nature Conservation Status of Natural Habitats and Species - Phase I" by providing information about their distribution and status assessments, enabling the development of specific measures. Specific objective 2 is Reducing/Eliminating the negative factors (threats and impacts) on the species that have been reported in 'unfavorable-inadequate' conservation status during the field studies under the project "Mapping and Determining the Nature Conservation Status of Natural Habitats and Species - Phase I" by implementing direct conservation activities. Specific objective 3 is Improvement of the conservation status of the target species included in the project by involving stakeholders and making them familiar with the necessary measures that needs to be taken. The project proposal foresees to be implemented within the following Natura 2000 protected sites under the Habitats Directive within the territorial scope of CLLD Strategy of Hisarya Local Action Group: BG0001389 „Sredna gora“; BG0000429 „Reka Stryama“ and BG0000444 „Reka Pyasachnik“.
