Organizing and conducting an information campaign for the Natura 2000 sites on the territory of Vidin district.

The purpose of the project proposal is to organize and conduct an information campaign for the Natura 2000 sites in the territory of Vidin District. The municipalities of Belogradchik, Vidin, Makresh and Chuprene were determined on the basis of preliminary analyses for the campaign. The envisaged activities are: organization and planning of the campaign, establishment of media partnerships with television, radio and web site with regional coverage and make an expeditionary trip with the media partners. It is planned to develop information and advertising materials for the respective target groups, as well as equipment for implementation of the campaign. Following preliminary analyses, the campaign itself targets three large target groups - stakeholders, students and the general public. Communication channels and activities have been identified to meet their needs. The campaign envisages information meetings and trainings with stakeholders in municipalities on the following topics: The opportunities of Natura 2000, good practices and business models and ways of participating in the planning and management of the network. Special events are planned with students of different ages - information games, plain airs and educational programs with the older ones. A key activity is also to work with the general public through participation in traditional mass events in the respective municipality. The implementation of the project In the implementation of the project will be used the full capacity of Chuprene Municipality - human resources, experience in similar projects, large material and technical base and wide contacts at regional level. As a result of the project, more than 30 events will be held, over 100 publications will be made and at least 10 thousand people will be covered in the campaign. As a final result, stakeholder capacity for the network and its capabilities will be created and a shared vision for Natura 2000 in the area built and maintained.
