Shared vision for ecological network "NATURA 2000" in the district of Shumen

The project involves a regional information campaign arranging in the district of Shumen, through which a vision for the protected territories of ecological network "Natura 2000" in the local area will be developed and shared.A total of 13 protected territories of the ecological network will be involved in the regional information campaign under the project. Three (3) of them are totaly covered in district area, e.g: protected area (PA) "Ticha" (BG0000178), PA "Shumen Plateau" (BG0000382), PA "Kabyyuk" (BG0000602). The territory of 10 others PA are partly involved in the district area, e.g: Provadia-Royak Plateau PA (BG0000104), Provadia-Royak Plateau PA (BG0002038) - under the Birds EU Directive, "Hursovska Reka" PA (BG0000106), "Kotlenska Mountain" PA (BG0000117) ), "Kotlenska Mountain" PA (BG0002029) - under the Birds EU Directive; "Kamenitza" PA (BG0000138), "Rishki Prohod" PA (BG0000149), "Ecological corridor Kamchia-Emine" PA (BG0000393), "Preslavska Mountain" PA (BG0000421), "Big Kamchia" PA (BG0000501). The regional information campaign will be implemented through various forms of information - information meetings, trainingsq arranged in the protected areas, discussions, educational videos, film, etc. A wide range of communicators will be used - media, experts, stakeholders, mediators. They will outline the specific features of protected areas, species and habitats within them, focusing on impact approaches that the local population can apply without disrupting their normal existence.
