The project proposal provides the preparation of a national Action plan for the species Balkan Chamoi (Rupicapra rupicapra balkanica, Bolkay 1925) for the period 2019 - 2028. The implementation of the project will include an analysis of all the available information to determine restoration, maintenance and conservation measures for the target species of Balkan Chamoi from the Natura 2000 network in Bulgaria for a period of 10 years. The Action plan will be developed in compliance with all the requirements of the National and EU legislation. The Action plan for the target species of the Balkan Chamoi will benefit the conservation of the species and support the Natura 2000 network.
