Improvement of the conservation status of natural habitat types 4070 and 5130 by parameter "Future perspectives"

The project proposal is aimed at improving the conservation status of natural habitats. Activities are planned to improve the conservation status of the natural habitat 4070 "Bushes with Pinus mugo" by parameter "Future perspectives": - in the special area of conservation BG0000496 Rila Monastery, by implementing measure "Fire-fighting measures"; - in the special area of conservation BG0000366 Kresna - Ilindentsi, by implementing measure "Promotion of sporadic grazing". Activities are also planned to improve the conservation status of the natural habitat 5130 "Juniperus communis formations on heaths or calcareous grasslands" by parameter "Future perspectives": - in special area of conservation BG0001011 Osogovo Mountain, by implementing measure "Fire-fighting measures"; - in special area of conservation BG0001007 Strandzha, by implementing measure "Promotion of sporadic grazing"; - in special area of conservation BG0000113 Vitosha, by implementing measure "Promotion of sporadic grazing". The activities comply with Annex No 1 “Eligible habitats and measures” to the Guidelines for application under procedure No BG16M1OP002-3.021 “Improvement of the conservation status of natural habitats”. As a result of the project implementation, improvement of the conservation status of the covered natural habitats, subject to protection in the Natura 2000 network, is expected.
