Shared vision for Natura 2000 of the Nature Park "Sinite kamani" 2020

This proposal is aimed at promoting measures and activities for the conservation of the Mizian beech forests in habitat 91W0 Mizian beech forests with an area 681,52 ha and the Eastern forests of hairy oak in the habitat of 91AA Eastern forests of hairy oak with an area of 694.08 ha on the territory of the Sliven region (the effect of the project is aimed at the whole habitats and not part of them). For this purpose, a regional information campaign is planned, that includes for the holding of three public events on the territory of Sliven region. The first event will be on the territory of the city of Sliven near the initial stop of the lift to Nature park Sinite kamani, the second event will be organized in the Karandila area, a gathering point of tourists visiting the Sinite Kamani PP and the third event will be training on a terrain aimed at the huts that host huts in the park. The regional information campaign will be implemented through a variety of forms of information - information meetings, field trainings in the zones, etc. A wide range of communicators - media, experts, stakeholders, mediators will be used. They will present the specificities of the protected areas, the species and habitats of the Mizian beech forests and the eastern forests of hairy oak in them, focusing on impact and conservation approaches that the local population can apply without disrupting their normal existence.
