Prevention and counteraction of landslide processes on the Republican road network - Phase 2

The present project covers and includes activities related to the implementation of preventive actions on five sites, which are defined as one of the most urgent, according to the prioritization of the persons entered in the register under Art. 95 para. 2 of the Spatial Planning Act (SPA) as of 15.10.2015, landslide areas according to approved Methodology for prioritization of the same (Order № RD 02-14-1390 / 17.12.2015 of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works), namely: - Object with Reg. № HKV 28.65677-02 - town of Svilengrad, road I-8 Haskovo - Svilengrad from km 371+840 to km 372+200; - Object with Reg. №GAB29.65927.13 - Road I-4 / E-772 / "Koritna - Bulgarian Spring - Mikre - Sevlievo - Veliko Tarnovo - Omurtag - Targovishte Razgrad - Shumen region), from km 84 + 624 to km 84 + 905 and from its southern side; - Object with Reg. № PER 36.61577-01 - Radomir, Road I-6 "Kyustendil-Radomir-Pernik" at km 72 + 300; - Object with Reg. №SLV 20.07613-12 - Road II -53 Elena-Sliven-Yambol, km 107 + 200; - Object with Reg. №SOF 46.11394-03 - Road I-1 Sofia - Pernik from km 281 + 150 to km 281 + 600 near Vladaya village. The main types of geo-protection measures and activities that will be performed for these sites in particular are cleaning and consolidation of slopes, structural strengthening of the body of the landslide (pilot reinforcement, slit walls, anchoring, retaining walls, retreading, drainage ribs with power assistance etc.) drainage, restoration of road surface, etc. As a consequence of the implementation of the project activities, it is expected that a direct contribution will be made to limit the landslide processes of sites located on the territory of the Republican Road Network with registers № HKV 28.65677-02, №GAB29.65927.13, №PER 36.61577-01, №SLV 20.07613-12 and №SOF 46.11394-03. Through the implementation of the project, human life and health will be safeguarded and material material losses will be avoided.
