Fortification of landslide SFO 43.65869-01, Staro Selo quarter, Svoge town

The present project proposal envisages implementation of geoprotective measures and activities in landslide SFO 43.65869-01, Staro Selo quarter, Svoge, located in the northwestern part of the town, on a slope with landslide morphology and an area of 55 ha. with a found process of "creeping", as a result of which retaining walls, residential and farm buildings, street lanes were deformed. Based on the engineering-geological and hydrogeological studies of the terrain, the implementation of fortification measures is envisaged in three stages: stage I, stage II and stage III. The linear fortifications in the area of the lowest step (stage II) are financed under this procedure and amount to 6 799 972,80. The implementation of the fortification measures and activities developed in the technical design for the three stages will lead to the overall stability of the landslide zone. The construction of a control and measuring system for geodetic monitoring of deformations will ensure effective planning of future strengthening measures. The implementation of these investments will contribute to reducing the number of people at risk of landslides and improving the fight against disasters, in line with the overall purpose of the procedure.
