Updatingof of the Programme Ambient Air Quality Program of Haskovo municipality

The project proposal is a set of activities and measures necessary for the development of a program for the Air Quality Program and the promotion of EU financial support. Haskovo municipality is an eligible beneficiary under the Procedure for Elaboration/updating of Municipal Programs for Ambient Air Quality within OPE 2014-2020. It is one of the 28 municipalities with poor air quality by PM10 and PAS indicator from an established list of areas (including agglomerations) for assessment and management of ambient air quality The current Haskovo Air Quality Program has a performance range of 2016-2020. The project envisages an update of the CAB program for the period 2021-2025, addressing the main sources of air pollution on the territory of the municipality and marking adequate measures for improvement of the local conditions. The project envisions the implementation of the following main activities: - Preparation of a project proposal; - Preparation of documentation and execution of public procurement procedures for selection of contractor; - Updating the program for ambient air quality; - Implementation of information provision and communication measures; -Organization, management and internal monitoring of the project. The target group of the project proposal is the population living on the territory of Haskovo municipality. Direct beneficiaries are all temporary or permanent residents of the municipality. The following horizontal principles will be applied over the course of the implementation of the activities - partnership, transparency and publicity, gender equality, non-discrimination and accessibility The results of the implementation of the project will be developed and adopted by the Haskovo Municipal Council for the up-to-date Air Quality Program program of Haskovo municipality in full compliance with the objective of this procedure.
