The project involves the delivery of 52 new electric buses and specialized equipment for them. The following main activities are included in the project in order to ensure the normal operation of the vehicles and the sustainability of the project: • increase of electrical capacities, route construction, construction of new substations and connection to the electricity distribution network • construction of shelters for the charging stations and the electric buses. The project will be implemented on the territory of Sofia Municipality and the purchased electric buses will be operated by Stolichen Avtoransport EAD on existing bus lines and on newly opened lines with feeder functions to the metro system and the tram network .
