Construction, complete renovation / reconstruction of 26 schools and kindergartens on the territory of Sofia Municipality

The Project envisages a complete renovation/reconstr. and implementation of energy efficiency measures and upgrading the material and technical foundation of 26 kindergartens and schools involved in the IP "Educational infrastructure" of IPURD of Sofia Municipality. 25 of the buildings are situated in area with a predominantly social nature - the territory of the regions of Krasna polyana, Vrabnitza, Nadezhda and Ilinden and one building is in the area of public functions with high public importance in the region Sredets. The buildings are spread on the territory of intervention areas as follows: Region Krasta Polyana -3 sites /57 High School (HS) St.Naum Ohridski and 147 PS Radichkov, 123 HS Stefan Stambolov; Region Nadezhda - 11 sites /102 Primary School (PS) Panaiot Volov; 54 HS Ivan Rilski; 15 HS Adam Mickiewich; 101 HS Bacho Kiro; 16 PS Raiko Jinzifov; Kindergarten №15 Chuchuliga; Kindergarten №90 Vesa Paspaleeva -2 buildings; kindergarten №115 Osmi Mart; Kindergarten 152 Vrabnitza; Kindergarten 170 Pchelitsa; Kindergarten 27 Detska kitka; Region Vrabnitza - 4 objects /140 HS Ivan Bogorov; 70 PS St.Kliment Ohridski ; 62 PS Hristo Botev; 42 Chaika; Region Ilinden - 7 sites /113 HS Sava Filaretov; 3 HS Marin Drinov; former subsidiary of the Second English Language School Thomas Jefferson, Kindergarten 179 Sinchetz; kindergarten 51Sturche; Kindergarten 53 Sveta Troitsa, reconstruction of two-storey municipal building /Former military District institution/building for 43 PS Hristo Smirnenski/; Region "Sredets" -1 object /9 French language HS/; The renewed infrastructure and material and technical foundation of the schools and kindergartens will contribute to a better quality of education and educational process as a whole. With the implementation of the project equal conditions and access to education for all children of the targeted metropolitan areas will be achieved and a maximum range of children and students as well non-discrimination will be reached.
