"Implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures in Administrative Buildings - the Building of RDMI-Varna"

The project proposal envisages the introduction of energy efficiency measures and achieving at least Energy consumption class "C" in the administrative building (a complex of buildings, the oldest of which is an immovable cultural value) of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Varna, which will contribute to reduction of final energy consumption and indirectly to reduction of greenhouse gases. The object of intervention is state property and the property rights on it are exercised by the Ministry of Interior and the State Agency for Technical Operations. It is located in the central part of Varna on the territory of the Archaeological Reserve "Ancient City - Odessos - Varna" - a site with a status of immovable cultural property with a category of "national significance" and is in the area with public functions of high public importance from IPGRD of Varna. The implementation of the project activities will bring the administrative building of the Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Varna in accordance with the requirements of the technical passport and the energy audit, observing the requirements of the current legislation in the Republic of Bulgaria and will improve the architectural appearance of the complex of buildings. The implementation of the project will lead to higher energy efficiency and will directly contribute to the reduction of final energy consumption in the administrative building as well as to improve the mobility of people with disabilities and will indirectly contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases. The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the national energy efficiency target, namely to achieve 25% more energy efficiency by 2020 and indirectly to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere.
