Improvement of social infrastructure in Plovdiv Municipality

(A) The need for the project The project will contribute to ensuring a quality social infrastructure in the municipality of Plovdiv, which will create conditions for effective social services and consequent reduction of existing forms of social exclusion. The renewed infrastructure will provide more and improved opportunities (capacity) for protection, social security, meeting the everyday needs, and offering support and information to various target groups. (B) Target groups The project target groups include women, victims of domestic violence and their children; homeless; homeless children; poor people and unemployed; children from poor families; persons with disabilities and persons of Roma origin, falling under the previous categories of target groups. (C) Expected Results (1) Renovated buildings with embedded energy efficiency measures, landscaped and furnished yard of Crisis center for women victims of domestic violence; (2) A new-built Center for temporary accommodation for individuals and families.
