Renovation of urban environment in Industrial zone North and industrial zone South

This project proposal falls within the area with potential for economic development and the activities planned are selected and united based on an integrated territorial approach, which aims to permanently improve the infrastructure in industrial zones and business parks using the existing potential and meeting the needs identified in the socio-economic analysis of IPURD of Burgas 2014-2020. Krayezerna street is among the main roads serving the area with potential for economic development of Burgas. It is located in the western part of Industrial Zone North and is the main street providing access to many factories and companies in the IZ North and Industrial and logistics park Burgas AD. The street is in poor condition, with a number of cracks, holes, wear and technical infrastructure is not fully developed and/or it is amortized, which is a reason for reduced investment activity in this part of the zone as it does not offer suitable conditions for business initiatives. With the construction of road junction West, street Krayezerna becomes the key to the connection of international routes and access to important logistics sites such as Port West, Burgas airport, industrial zones but the capacity of the street is not sufficient to serve the expected intense traffic. The activities for reconstruction and expansion of Krayezerna street and improviement of the infrastructure aim to create conditions for attracting new investment, increase economic potential and investment activity in Burgas. Rehabilitation of the physical environment and bringing out the traffic from the urban core of Burgas aims to improve the environmental situation and quality of life of the citizens of Burgas. Improving the business environment will lead to an increase in direct foreign and local investment, while bringing out the tranzit traffic will improve environmental performance by reducing congestion, accidents, noise and air emissions.
