Renovation and implementation of energy efficiency measures in multifamily residential buildings in the city of Burgas

The project proposal aims, on the one hand, to improve the energy efficiency of buildings in the historical center of the city, on the other hand, to restore the original appearance of buildings of cultural monuments, an ensemble of cultural monuments or buildings falling within the protection Zone of a cultural monuments. Through the implementation of the project activities and the introduction of energy efficiency measures will be met the need to increase the class of energy consumption of buildings, to provide better living conditions for occupants in multifamily residential buildings, thermal comfort and higher quality of the Living environment. The main activities include the introduction of energy-saving measures to improve the energy performance of buildings located in the historic center of the city. Four of the buildings are cultural monuments, 2 are an ensemble of cultural monuments, 2 buildings falling within the protection zone of cultural monuments and the other 2 are not cultural monuments. The project target groups are 317 owners and permanent residents of 96 independent residential and 20 commercial properties to the ten owners' associations registered under the Condominium Ownership Management Act in the eligible buildings included in this project. As a result of the introduction of energy efficiency measures in the multi-family residential buildings included in the project proposal, it will contribute to: • increasing the energy efficiency class of multi-family residential buildings by achieving at least Class "C" and Reducing energy costs; • savings of 1 712 179 kWh / year Primary energy; • saved 437.71 t / y. An ecological equivalent of carbon dioxide emissions; • Improving the exploitation characteristics of the life cycle of buildings; • Ensuring living conditions in line with sustainable development criteria.
