Renovation and implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Burgas Municipality, 26 Alexandrovska str.

The project proposal is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and achieving the energy consumption class "B" in a building of Burgas Municipality located at 26, Aleksandrovska str. The planned activities include the introduction of energy saving measures on building envelope elements and installations, improvement the performance of the building and providing an accessible environment for disadvantaged people. The project proposal addresses three main aspects of the needs related to the reduction of the final energy consumption in the building of the Municipal Administration of Burgas; improving the comfort of living and providing better working conditions for employees; ensuring equal access and social inclusion of people with disabilities. The target groups of the project are 186 permanent municipal employees recruited on labor and service contracts, over 150 average daily visitors in the building of Burgas Municipality and 350 people on average daily and attendants served at the Center for Administrative Services located on the back of the building. As a result of the implementation of the energy efficiency measures in the administrative building, it will contribute to: √ The class of energy consumption of the building will rise from "D" to "B"; √ Saving of 1 153 128 kWh/y. primary energy equivalent to 60.4%; √ The ecological equivalent of the integrated implementation of all energy saving measures is 297.38 t./y. saved CO2 emissions; √ Improving the comfort of the people working and visiting the public building and achieving the normative parameters of the heating and lighting environment; √ Optimization of the budget expenditures as a result of the achieved energy savings from the implemented energy efficiency measures; √ Reducing carbon emissions from public infrastructure; √ Improved performance for extending the lifetime of a building; √ Ensuring conditions of living environment in accordance with the criteria for sustainable development.
