"Reconstruction, repair works and renovation, implementation of energy efficiency measures in Cultural Center of Lukoil Neftochim"

The project ”Reconstruction, repair, rehabilitation and implementation of energy efficiency measures in Cultural centre Lukoil Heftohim” envisages a set of interconnected activities for rehabilitation of Cultural centre Lukoil Heftohim which will ensure more attractive and accessible cultural environment for all citizens and guests of the city of Burgas. The project is in line with the policy of Burgas municipality for creation of active urban spaces, which unify infrastructure, events, creative communities and audiences. The Cultural centre is recognizable and attractive location situated in the heart of the city centre with potential for development of variety of functions and interrelations with both the surrounding areas and established contemporary arts and creative industries. The envisaged project activities are directed towards thorough modernization of the building; creation of contemporary architectural image of the building functional and meaningful enrichment of activities and implementing of energy and resource efficiency measures. The project proposal includes: - Construction activities aiming to renovate existing halls and premises, among which the large performance hall, the stage and additional spaces, reconstruction of the roof and the internal yard, construction of a superstructure in the main entrance area, access for people with disabilities and energy efficiency measures; - Supply of equipment and furniture; - Implementation of technical design and independent supervision during construction; - Information and communication activities; - Project management activities and audit. The project is part of the Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development of the city of Burgas, Impact zone for public functions with high social significance (3BI) – Project group 3BI – 4 Renovation of sites of culture. The project is listed among the main projects of the Investment programme of Burgas Municipality for the period 2014 – 2020.
