The project "Road of cultural and historical values over the centuries - implementation of conservation and restoration activities in the building of the Ethnographic Museum and the adjacent yard and construction of" Street of Crafts "aims to improve conditions for access to cultural life of the city by encouraging the development and the promotion of region-specific arts and crafts as a factor for sustainable local development. The project activities include: Improvement and construction of Aleko Konstantinov Street - "Crafts Street"; Construction and installation works related to conservation and restoration of the building of the Ethnographic Complex - Regional Historical Museum - Burgas and the adjacent yard; Establishment of shared cultural spaces in the open air; Delivery of furniture and equipment; Activities for organization and management, authorial and construction supervision, information and publicity; The target groups of the project are: the residents of the municipality of Burgas; local communities artisans, creators, artists; the guests of the municipality of Burgas; business in the municipality of Burgas: people with disabilities, socially disadvantaged, young children; cultural, scientific and educational institutions; disadvantaged people who will have equal access to the services offered. The implementation of the project activities envisages the construction of the ethnographic ensemble, including the Ethnographic Museum and the Street of Crafts and the establishment of a single area for arts and local traditions and customs with a common character and spirit. It will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of local craftsmen and artists and will increase the attractiveness of tourist routes in the city, which will be another step of Burgas to overcome the seasonal nature of the tourism industry in the region.
