Repair, implementation of energy efficiency measures and measures under Regulation No.4 for accessible environment of Complex for social services for children and families

The project envisages complete renovation of “Complex for social services for children and families”, part of Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development of Ruse, situated in zone B with predominant social character. The Complex is state delegated activity for provision of services for supporting children and their families, as an alternative to institutional care for children at risk. 2 social services are provided in the Complex: “Centre for work with street children” and “Centre for social support”. The Complex building is massive 2-storey building with basement. Its construction is monolithic – reinforced concrete framework and brickwork. The roof is sloped with wooden construction, covered with tiles. The building is situated in property with area of 4950 sqm, zoned property I-5001 quadrant 713 under Regulation Plan of Ruse city, with location Ruse, Rodina 1 Dist,14 Lipnik Blvd. The building will undergo major renovation with introduction of measures for energy efficiency measures and accessible environment, to ensure equal conditions for disadvantaged people. New monolithic reinforced concrete staircase will be built for safety during evacuation of the building residents. Partial replacement will be performed of electrical, heating and plumbing installations. Construction of multifunctional playground and playgrounds for outdoor lessons is envisaged in the yard. Further improvement and landscaping of the property will be performed. Existing playgrounds on the Complex territory will be preserved. In place of the existing green area is developed decorative space – rosary with seating and relaxation spaces. Project implementation shall improve the aesthetic appearance of the facades, the technical condition of the building and shall reduce operating costs, creating complete environment for habitation, leisure and recreation that meets high aesthetic criteria in terms of diversity of plant species, combination of colours and forms.
