Ensuring sustainable urban environment of Pleven - stage 2

The present project proposal is in implementation of the approved Investment programme of Pleven Municipality, and globally of the sustainable urban development policy and includes eligible measures and activities under investment priority “Urban environment”. The targeted project interventions are on objects, part of the linear infrastructure of the city of Pleven, located on the territory of the impact zones defined in the Integrated urban recovery and development plan - "Zone with potential for economic development". The planned construction works aim at the reconstruction for renovation of the physical elements of the urban environment - Transport technical infrastructure (street network), represented by the following objects: Vit Street - from IZOBOR company to the intersection with Second Zadarova Street and North Street, including facilities for transport technical infrastructure - Road overpass for Storgoziya residential complex. The envisaged measures achieve an integrated impact and synergetic effect on the territory and population of the city of Pleven, both through their spatial location and through the measures and activities, envisaged under the other projects, part of the Municipality's Investment Programme, which relate to interventions in the educational, social and cultural infrastructure as well as the development of integrated urban transport. The present project proposal has a valorizing effect, upgrading and further developing the implemented under the project "Ensuring of sustainable urban environment in Pleven" repair activities on 30 objects from the urbanized territory of the city of Pleven.
