Introduction of energy efficiency measures, provision of access to people with special needs and complete renovation of the building facades of RDMI and First Regional Police Department of Blagoevgrad.

A current project proposal provides for the introduction of energy efficiency measures in the buildings of District Directorate of the Ministry of Interior and First Regional Police Department - Blagoevgrad, located at Blagoevgrad, 3, "Vlado Chernozemski", str. In addition to this, access to people with special needs will be provided and a complete renovation of the facades of these buildings will be conducted. For the achievement of the objectives described in the project, construction and assembly work related to insulation of the exterior walls will be carried out. Additionally, insulation of roofs, replacement windows, replacement of the heating installation as well as replacement of the lighting fixtures, which will reach the class energy consumption of "B", will be performed. The providing and facilitation of access to the buildings to the people with special needs will be accomplished by constructing the necessary specialized equipment. With the implementation of this project, the local policies for sustainable urban development, will be observed while improving the quality of life and achieving ecological balance in compliance with the European requirements and standards for smart cities.
