Construction and Improvement of Listopad Street of Subregion IV

The current project proposal is aimed at improving urban environment in Municipality of Blagoevgrad in order to achieve higher standard of living in Blagoevgrad by creating prerequisites for turning the city in a better place to live. The project proposal envisages one intervention site: 1) Construction and improvement of Listopad Street in the IV-th Residential Area. The main objective is to create lasting improvement of the transport and exploitation characteristics of the pavement, to provide traffic safety conditions, travel comfort and proper drainage of the street, as well as aesthetic and harmonious environment regarding communications, administration and the commercial and residential parts of the city. The project proposal is a continuation of activities related to reconstruction and improvement of the infrastructure in the IV-th Residential Area in Blagoevgrad, which builds on the investments made so far, provided for in the Investment Program of the Municipality of Blagoevgrad. The overall aesthetic vision of Blagoevgrad will be improved by renovation of existing and construction of new elements of the urban environment, whose architectural and spatial solutions are in full accordance with the architectural environment of the city. The implementation of the project will improve the attractiveness of the city and hence increase the local competitiveness.
