"Improving energy efficiency in municipal administrative building"

This project is included in the list of indicative major projects approved under PA1 - "Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development" of OPRG, procedure BG16RFOP001-1.010 - "Implementation of Integrated Urban Recovery and Development Plans 2014- 2020-Vidin". The project falls within the Public Function Area of ​​High Public Importance of the City of Vidin. Within the framework of the project energy efficiency measures and measures related to improving the accessibility of people with disabilities, in accordance with the requirements of Ordinance No.4/01.07.2009 will be taken and implemented in the administrative building of Vidin municipality, and other measures provided for in the building's technical passport. The necessary energy-saving measures for the building are reflected in an EE audit report, accompanied by a valid energy performance certificate, issued by a licensed entity. The mandatory and recommended measures provided for in the building passport will be implemented. The measures are aimed at increasing the energy consumption class, increasing energy savings and providing an accessible environment for disadvantaged people. The building subject to intervention is in poor technical condition. The building was built in 1970 and since then no major repairs have been made. As a result of the implementation of the project in the administrative building of the Municipality of Vidin will be created better working conditions for the workers in the building and better conditions for the visitors of the building, namely 45 582 inhabitants of the town of Vidin (large some of them use the services of the municipal administration). The reconstructed building will meet the modern requirements for administrative buildings. The annual primary energy consumption will be reduced, the greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced and the external appearance of not only the building but also the central city where it is located will be improved.
