Reconstruction of Building - Shelter for Homeless People and Families

As a result of the planned intervention a municipal building with capacity of fifteen persons will be reconstructed and rennovated, ready to accommodate new social service - shelter for homeless people and families. A necessity which is identified in the Municipal Startegy for Social Service Develpment 2016-2020 and in the Regional Strategy for Social Service Develpment 2016-2020 will be satisfied. The implementaion of the project will provide the missing premises to shelter people with no housing option. The most vulnurable individuals and families will be eligible for the the social service - they will be provided with food and conditions to keep personal hygiene, they may get aditional consulting to overcome difficulties and to reintegrate. The target group consists of marginalised people, including roma people, from Dobrich municipality and Dobrich district at risk of poverty and social exclusion. The aim of the project will be achieved by the following activities: designer's work, based on the conclusions and recommendations put down in the technical inspection and certification report and the energy efficiency audit of the building; building works are going to be commissioned along with construction supervision. Author’s supervision will also take place. Appropriate furniture and equipment will be supplied and installed. A team of experts for project administration and organization is going to be appointed. Their main responsibility is going to be duly and on time implementation of project activities. Information and publicity measures are going to take place in line with the Information and Publicity Guidelines for Operations financed by Regions in Growth 2014-2020.
