Improving the city environment through renovation of the public open spaces between blocks and inner residential areas, and ensuring assessible architectural environment in Haskovo.

The current project proposal "Improving the city environment through renovation of the public open spaces between blocks and inner residential areas, and ensuring assessable architectural environment in Haskovo" fully corresponds to the Investment programme and the policy of Haskovo Municipality for fostering the quality of life, the social inclusion and improving the environment. The main results, which will be achieved with the implementation of the project is 50 000 sq. m. new and renovated green areas within the town of Haskovo and establishment of comfortable esthetic zone for rehabilitation and entertainment through the construction of playgrounds and facilities for relaxation, as well as grassing, draining, lighting and maintenance of asphalt pavement on the servicing roads and parking lots. The activities to be implemented within the project are: - Organization, management, and internal monitoring of the project for achieving, both the most effective and transparent management of the costs and coordinating the achievement of the project objectives; - Construction and installation works of the public open spaces between blocks and inner residential areas and ensuring assessable architectural environment in Haskovo; - Design and work supervision of the sites until the receipt of Permission for use of the sites/ Certificate for entering into exploitation; - Publicity and communication activities for informing the general public for the financial contribution of the ERDF; - Independent financial audit of the costs incurred within the project activities, including the public procurement procedures.
