Renovation of urban living environment in residential areas in "Maritsa-Bolnitsata" of Pazardzhik

The Project proposal "Renovation of the urban living environment in residential areas "Maritsa Bolnitsata" of Pazardzhik" was developed for the purpose of implementation of activities for sustainable urban development as part of the IP of IPURD. The PP aims to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of the city of Pazardzhik and the quality of life of its citizens through integrated solving the problems of the urban area and creating a harmonious living area.The PP includes manifold interventions, complementary and interrelated territorial and functional status: upgrading 4 spaces in residential areas in the Social zone of IPURD of the city of Pazardzhik. Thus the PP provides achieving development which meets the needs of the present, rising standard of living and protecting and improving the environment now and in future. The effect of the planned interventions affect part of the city's population (including marginalized groups) with respect to the quality of life, ecological and aesthetic qualities of the living environment and attractiveness of the city. The PP seeks to ensure continuous improvement in the environmental, climatic and aesthetic conditions in the city, which will be reflected in increased quality of public urban spaces, improved accessibility, increased green spaces, improving the environmental conditions; saved energy by introducing energy-saving lighting; improved functioning of the urban system.
