Renovation and modernization of educational infrastructure in the town of Pazardjik - hostel of "Georgi Benkovski" high school,"Lyuben Karavelov" primary school, "Dimitar Gachev" high school, "Dr Petar Beron" high school and "Hristo Botev" primary school

The project proposal is aimed at improving the quality and increasing the attractiveness of the educational environment in 5 schools in the town of Pazardjik - hostel to high school "G. Benkovski", primary school "Lyuben Karavelov",high school "Dr Petar Beron", high school "Dimitar Gachev "and" Hristo Botev" primary school. The target group of the project proposal are students from first to 12th grade studying in municipal schools in Pazardjik (incl. Roma children and children with disabilities). Provided to implement key activities are related to rehabilitation and upgrading of facilities and equipment, incl. implementation of energy efficiency measures to achieve a minimum grade of energy consumption "C", internal and external restoration repairs, replacement and upgrading of water supply and sanitation, heating, electrical installations of buildings, provision of accessible architectural environment, renovation of the adjacent yards and purchasing modern furniture and equipment for the needs of academic activities and improving a good living conditions in the hostel. As a result of the implementation of measures to improve the material and technical base of the schools and the hostel will improve the condition of the buildings and courtyards, will create suitable living and learning environment for the target groups, will create conditions for modernizing learning process, providing better social and living conditions for students living in the hostel. The provision of modern, accessible and accordant to the modern requirements educational infrastructure will have a positive impact on students' motivation to actively participation in the educational process as well as social inclusion and ensurance of equal access to education for children and students with special educational needs, also social disadvantaged children and Roma children enrolled in supported schools.
