"Construction of social housing in Shumen"

The project proposal "Construction of social housing in the town of Shumen" is aimed at providing modern social housing for accommodation of vulnerable groups of population and other disadvantaged groups, through construction of 50 new social housing and 1 housing for people with disabilities, to accommodate target group representatives and rehabilitate adjacent spaces. The overall objective of the project proposal is to improve social infrastructure by building social housing for accommodating vulnerable, minority and socially vulnerable groups of the population and other disadvantaged groups. Project target groups are representatives of marginalized population groups. With the implementation of the present project proposal will be achieved the improvement of the quality of life, the improvement of the human capital, the restoration and revival of the main social functions of the municipality by accelerating the economic, social and territorial potential for sustainable and integrated development of the settlements in Shumen municipality. Social homes will be targeted at vulnerable, minority and socially disadvantaged, marginalized population groups and other disadvantaged groups who do not have their own home and can not afford a rental flat at market rates. The physical location of construction provides for the spatial integration of marginalized groups into society by providing technical, social and educational infrastructure. With regard to this type of social infrastructure, the municipality fulfills its statutory obligation, namely the implementation of social policy at the local level.
