Improving the urban environment of Sliven

The current project proposal includes measures for improving the urban environment in the following regions in Sliven: • Rehabilitation and development of the river banks and areas of Asenovska river • Rehabilitation, development and renovation of public green areas for wide use in “Republika” neighborhood The construction and renovation activities in the first object include: rehabilitation of the existing green areas on both banks of the river. The areas are located between the bridges of "Trakia" blv. and "Gen. Skobelev” str. and alongside streets “The 6th of September" and "Dimitar Pehlivanov Dobrovich". The architectural project plans: reconstruction and formation of new alleys and lanes for bicycles; construction of a playground with a combined facility; construction of a playground for sand sculptures; delivery and montage of swings, balance type, and a playground with swings and roundabouts for children, age - 3 to 12 years. A playground for small bicycles will be formed, a multipurpose sports field and one outdoor fitness. The construction also includes one small parking place for 6 cars and a toilet. Around the alleys, playgrounds and fields, medium and large-sized greenery will be planted and the area will be provided with garden lighting. The construction and rehabilitation works in the second object - “Republika” neighborhood are divided into three areas. In each one of them the existing benches, bins and lighting will be replaced, depending on the needs of each area. Playgrounds with combined sport facilities and a playground for fitness activities. The area will be planted with trees, bushes and flowers. The first and the second section will include parking spaces. Security cameras will be installed in the three areas of the neighborhood.
