Improving the urban environment of Sliven - Phase II

The project proposal aim to improve the environment and create aesthetic, accessible and green spaces in the following residential areas: • Rehabilitation, development and renovation of public green areas for wide use in “Sini kamani” /Blue Stones/ neighborhood • Rehabilitation, development and renovation of public green areas for wide use in “Bulgarka” neighborhood • Rehabilitation, development and renovation of public green areas for wide use in "Druzhba" neighborhood The three neighborhoods, included in the project proposal, are the most densely populated in the town of Sliven. In this way, the investment will reach the maximum number of users. The construction activities incorporate alleys, pavements, playgrounds and sports grounds, landscaping, installation of park elements, parking spaces, etc. All three areas are located in the Zone with a predominantly social character from the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development of the City of Sliven, and the realization of the envisaged urbanization will increase the synergic effect of the complex implementation of already realized projects for improving the urban environment, educational infrastructure, energy efficiency and transport in Sliven.
