Sustainable and integrated development of the educational infrastructure of Yambol municipality

This project proposal is a part of Investment priority “Educational infrastructure" for implementation of Yambol Investment Programme. The project implementation will improve the conditions for provision of modern educational services through renovation and modernization of the educational infrastructure of the Yambol municipality. The modernization of four municipal sites that provide services to age groups from the smallest to the largest users (three childcare facilities and one secondary school) is envisaged. The sites are in two of the influence areas of IPURD: The area of public functions with high public importance and Zone prevaling social character, that determines their importance for the community and development of the city. Renovation, improvement and modernization of educational institutions will provide modern and quality work conditions, training and educational process, including with regard to the needs of disadvantaged groups, will increase the competitiveness of targeted groups and thus will contribute to the providing of adequate quality of life of all people in the city. The planned public works, comply with regulatory requirements for accessible public environment, will contribute to the full life of people with physical disabilities and will facilitate access for other population groups with limited mobility (elderly citizens, pregnant women, mothers with children) to public sites. The proposal will contributes to achieving territorial and integrated approach to realizing the investment for development of the city and will add value to already implemented such investments in the educational area over the programming period 2007-2013.
