"Renovation and modernization of the George Papazov Art Gallery - Yambol"

The project covers the renovation and modernization of the George Papazov Art Gallery - Yambol, located at 2 Tsar Samuil Street, in the central area of ​​Yambol. The proximity to the historical context and the center predetermines the active participation of the building in the city life. The site is a complex of three connected buildings with a public function - George Papazov Art Gallery, Yambol, including its adjacent yard, for which the complex is scheduled for major repairs / reconstruction. The total built-up area is 2,205 sq.m., and 618 sq.m. adjacent areas. The buildings included in the intervention are: synagogue - the synagogue building is an immovable cultural property of local significance, a warm connection compositionally connecting the former synagogue with the three-storey northern building of the complex. The existing main entrance to the gallery from the north of the former synagogue is preserved, as well as the service ramp from the west. In the northeastern part of the property is a reception square with a place for exhibiting sculptures of the Art Gallery in the open air in the yard. The design solution preserves the basic parameters of the building. All interventions are in accordance with the design visa and do not exceed the structural indicators specified there. During the development of the investment project, modern technological solutions, installations and materials are set for the creation of optimal conditions for living and operation of the gallery. Devices for climbing stairs of wheelchairs are provided, which allow for use of the building by disadvantaged people. The requirements of Ordinance 2 of 2008 of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for design, implementation, control and acceptance of waterproofing and waterproofing systems are met. buildings and facilities.
