Renovation and modernization of the Regional historical museum

The implementation of the project proposal "Renovation and modernization of the Regional Historical Museum" will contribute to the renewal of cultural infrastructure, will diversify the cultural life of the city and will ensure the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. The Regional Historical Museum - Yambol (RHM) is one of the attractive cultural centers for both visitors to the city and its residents. There is a shortage in terms of the exhibition area, designed and suitable for organizing temporary and visiting exhibitions. There is no accessible environment for the population, including people with disabilities. The need for a modern, contemporary, meeting the growing aesthetic demands of the visitor exposure environment is palpable. The main activities of RHM - Yambol are the protection and presentation of movable and immovable cultural values. Its activity covers different areas of knowledge and art and is carried out on the basis of different cultural values. The museum operates on the territory of Yambol District, including 5 municipalities. In this context, the benefits of the project are aimed at residents not only of the municipality of Yambol, but the entire administrative district and guests of the city. They can be defined as: - Benefits for the citizens of the Municipality of Yambol and the district, related to the satisfaction of their cultural needs, by gaining access to the history of the city and the region, presented in modern conditions; - Benefits for youth and adolescents who will receive opportunities for creative development and education; - Providing conditions for visiting the activities in RHM - Yambol by disadvantaged people and offering appropriate initiatives for them; - Benefits for the business of the Municipality of Yambol, which will receive better conditions to organize and participate in cultural forums on an extended scale, covering not only the territory of the Municipality of Yambol.
