"Improvement of urban environment in Pernik" throug the implementation of: 1. "Rehabilitation of Teva Neighborhood"; 2. "Park of challenges in Voynikovets area"; 3. "Bridge on the Struma river, Struma street"

The project proposal consists of rehabilitation activities in three objects, which have to be fulfilled under the “Urban environment” priority in the Investment programme of Municipality of Pernik, as listed: 1. "Rehabilitation of Teva Neighborhood" - main activities: foundation of walkways, zones for recreation, reconstruction of sports and children playground, energy saving electricity, construction of parking zone and transformation of three areas between blocks in the Teva Neighborhood into an attractive and accsessabile places for comunication, enterteinment, sports and recreation for the inhabitants - for disabled people and parents with children. 2. "Park of challenges in Voynikovets area" - reconstruction of zone for recreation and sports - alternative activities and entertainment for children and youths in the field ot 20 dka. Some of the intended atractions to be build: scene for cultural activities, playgrounds with different equipement based on its designation, area for climbing - "wire-garden"; separation of zone for fire-place and pole for flag and tent camping (as part of a "scout zone"); zone for mountbiking; zone "In searching for the Philosopher's stone"- playing logical game in the park; A place for temporarily parking will be aranged, suitable for people with disabilities. The projects main purpose is by using the existing green area to create an attractive zone for recreation and picnic, enterteinment for its guests, playgrounds, pavilions and benches. 3. "Bridge on the Struma river, Struma street" - activities for reconstruction and rehabilitation of existing bridge, which is in inadequate technical condition - especially its pedestrian zone. It is expected that the reconstruction works will improve the operational condition of the bridge. It will become suitable for safe and economical transport of people and goods. The bridge is expected to be accessible for disabled people and will achieve better protection of the environment.
