Integrated Public Transport in town of Pernik

The project "Integrated Public Transport in town of Pernik" (IPT) is embedded in Pran Municipal Development; Integrated plan for urban regeneration and development of Pernik, Investment program of the municipality of Pernik 2014 - 2020 year. With the introduction of Integrated Public Transport – Pernik aims at: improving living and environmental conditions in the city, creating effectively and quick public transportation with less energy consumption, introduction of ecological urban transport to achieve a balanced division and reduce the negative impact on the environment by maintaining the urban transport system of ecological vehicles. The main problems are physical and obsolete transport fleet; irregular public transport and lack of alternative transport, incl. bike lanes; bringing the service contracts in accordance with European norms - EU Regulation 1370/2007; Hub Transport Management; environmental issues for the city. Pernik. With the implementation of project activities will lead to meet the needs of the target groups -population of the town of Pernik - 77 135 at the current address; to 15/06/16 on (OCSP); tourists and guests of the town of Pernik; companies and organizations operating in Pernik. The expected results are: Control System for public transport in the city; Information electronic boards at bus stops; Electronic system and survey optimization routing scheme of public transport; Preparing a plan for a bicycle lanes network; Delivery of new rolling stock - 13 pcs. buses to CNG corresponding to European legislation on emissions from engines using alternative energy sources and building a gas filling station and other activities.
