Reconstruction and repair of municipal housing in modern social housing to accommodate vulnerable groups and other disadvantaged groups

The project meets the identified need for social housing in Vratsa. Its main objective is to ensure equal access to contemporary housing conditions and create preconditions for social integration and motivation for active inclusion in the social life of people from vulnerable population groups and other disadvantaged groups. The specific objectives are to ensure equal access to contemporary housing for vulnerable and disadvantaged population groups;reducing the number of residential buildings in Vratsa that are in poor condition; providing access for people with disabilities to social housing and creating prerequisites for social integration of people from vulnerable population groups and other disadvantaged groups. Target groups are homeless people or people living in poor living conditions, parents with children, incl.children with poor health or with disabilities,people at risk of social exclusion. The project activities are related to preparation of financial analysis and documentation for conducting public procurement; performance of engineering; construction supervision; delivery and installation of equipment and furnishing; commissioning of the site; project audit; project organization, management, information and communication.Construction works are planned for the reconstruction, renovation and equipment of 30 social homes in a residential building in Vratsa, 2B Vasil Kanchov Blvd., of which 28 flats will be 2-bedroom and 2-3 bedroom. The expected results are related to providing conditions and opportunities for socialization and integration of vulnerable,minority and socially disadvantaged groups of the population and other disadvantaged groups in the city of Vratsa and meeting their needs for shelter and social inclusion. The subsequent goals are with the placement in social housing to fulfill the specific social conditions included in the so-called "social package".
