Rehabilitation and new spatial solutions of "Svoboda" square in Lovech

The project proposal -PP envisages rehabilitation and new spatial solutions on Svoboda Square-a reserve site of the investment program for the implementation of the IURDP and the last subproject of Investment project Rehabilitation and new spatial solutions of the pedestrian zone in the central city part and rehabilitation of T.Kirkov square in Varosha quarter in Lovech according to grant agreement BG16RFOP001-1.020-0001-C02. The square was designed and built in the mid-1980s, after which only current and emergency repairs have been carried out, without complete refurbishment.The flooring is badly damaged and compromised, and the landscaping requires a thorough revision. Needs that will be met by the project implementation: Provision of new opportunities for recreation, entertainment, sports and social inclusion. Improvement of living conditions and the environment. Target Groups population of Lovech Municipality and the region, visitors, guests and tourists in the region. Expected results Fully improved physical environment in the city center improved quality of life and satisfaction of the residents and guests of Lovech increased investment attractiveness and balanced economic development of the city and the region. The following is planned: Complete replacement of flooring Revision of landscaping and urban furnishing Construction of irrigation system Construction of 3 playgrounds and a skateboard park Introduction of energy-saving lighting Provision of accessible route and recreational facilities for disabled people Main activities in the project: Organization and management, preparation and announcement of procedures under the Public Procurement Act, Selection of contractors and conclusion of contracts under the Public Procurement Act, Execution of construction works, Construction supervision, copyright supervision, Implementation of information and communication measures Independent audit.
