"Construction of social housing in the town of Kardzhali"

The project "Construction of social housing in the town of Kardzhali" is one of the three projects, included in the list of indicative major projects of the approved Investment Programme for the realization of the Integrated Plan for Urban Regeneration and Development of town of Kardzhaliunder Operational Programme "Regions in growth" 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 „Sustainable and integrated urban development. The main objective of the project is to to create conditions for the promotion of social inclusion and integration of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of Kardzhali residents by providing the necessary infrastructure. The specific objectives of the project are: to build social housing for socially vulnerable groups in the building of former campus in the town of Kardzhali ; to provide conditions for equal access to social services, education, employment, social inclusion and health care for disadvantaged groups of residents of the municipality of Kardzhali. The building, which is the object of intervention, is located in the area of impact with public functions of the Integrated Plan for Regeneration and Developmentand with its modernization will be built 69 social homes. The target group of the project covers over 210 inhabitants of Kardzhali municipality from vulnerable, minority and socially disadvantaged groups and other disadvantaged groups. The main activities of the project are related to the execution of construction and assembly works in the building of a former campus of the Technical School in the town of Kardzhali, supply of equipment, execution of construction and author supervision. The project also includes activities for management, information and publicity and financial audit.
