Renovation and energy efficiency of culture infrastructure - the building of Planetarium Smolyan

The project proposal includes repairs and reconstruction of one of the emblematic buildings in Smolyan - the building of the Municipal Cultural and Educational Center "Planetarium with Astronomical Observatory". It is planned to introduce energy saving measures - replacement of windows, thermal insulation of walls and roof, replacement of heating, ventilation, electrical and plumbing installations; replacement of flooring, cladding and coatings, according to the specifics of the individual premises; providing an accessible environment for people with disabilities and fire safety. The other very important part of the planned renovation of the Planetarium is the delivery of new modern and high-tech equipment for the star hall, as well as new equipment and furniture for the observatory and the other premises in the building. It is also planned to establish a second visitor center, which will complement the services that will be available to the visitors. The project will contribute to the development of the cultural institution as a modern center with opportunities for various events and attracting new audiences.
