"Educational infrastructure" - renovation and implementation of energy efficiency measures on the buildings of kindergartens, modernization of schools and rehabilitation of yards"

The project proposal represents measures planned to achieve better energy efficiency, modernization and rehabilitation of three kindergartens - "Nadejda", "Zornitsa" and "Prolet" and two high schools - "St.St. Kiril and Metodii" and "St. Kniaz Boris I" which are part of the municipal educational infrastructure in Asenovgrad. The objects of intervention have their place in the Investment program of Asenovgrad municipality under investment priority Educational infrastructure, having the aim to realize the Integrated plan for urban regeneration and development 2014-2020. "Zornitsa" kindergarten and the high school "St.St. Kiril and Metodii" are in the range of the zone with prevailing social character and "Nadejda" , "Prolet" kindergartens and high school "St. Kniaz Boris I" are in the zone with public functions with high public significance. In the project are set activities connected with equipment and furnishing supply, as a part of the whole modernization of the objects. There are also planned activities ensuring accessible architecture environment, yards' development, new playgrounds' building and new gardens establishment. The implementation of the project will ensure modernized conditions for education and care of high quality for the children and the students on the territory of Asenovgrad municipality and for the teachers and the staff in the schools and kindergartens. The energy and heating costs and the greenhouse gases will be decreased. Presumably the envisaged activities will contribute to achieve the common aim of the investment program in concern with better life conditions achievement, inhabitation, services, urban leisure and employment of the people in Asenovgrad. There will be achieved also the concrete aim: renovation and modernization of the public educational infrastructure set in procedure "Implementation of integrated plans for urban regeneration and development".
