Urban environment-renovation of publick open spaces in the city of Asenovgrad, district "West"- Zone 5

This project tender for development of Zone 5 in West District is part of the investment project: "Urban environment-development of public open spaces in Asenovgrad", which is part of the IPURD and the IP under OPRG of the Municipality of Asenovgrad. At the application stage, the mount needed for realization of the investment project was higher than the percentage limit set by the MA for priority "Urban environment". Therefore, the Municipality of Asenovgrad applied for a project tender, not including one of the zones/Zone 5/of the neighbourhood, with the intention at the earliest possible opportunity and the provision of financing, it also to be realized because only the investment project and the goals set therein will be fully implemented. After the completion of the public procurement of projects under the IP of Asenovgrad under the OPRG there is a finding of savings that are sufficient for Zone 5 of the West District to be realized. In order to be able to use the financial resources, the municipality initiated a procedure according to the instructions of the MA to release and use of these funds. After completion of the procedure, the current project tender was prepared. The project tender is aimed at improving the urban environment through the development of inter-block spaces in Zone 5 of the "West" district.The investment project provides the implementation of large-scale landscaping activities, construction of irrigation system, construction of children's and sports grounds, recreation areas, rehabilitation of street and sidewalks, installation of energy-saving lighting and a video surveillance system. The projekt tender is part of the IP of the Asenovgrad for realization of the IPURD for the 2014-2020 period. The planned interventions are concentrated in the social nature area defined in the plan. The project also includes activities for author and construction supervision, information and communication, as well as an independent audit of the project.
