"Development of part of the central zone and "Akad. Nikolay Haytov" square in Asenovgrad - 1st stage"

This project tender "Development of part of the central zone and "Acad.Nikolay Haytov" square in Asenovgrad–1st stage" is aimed at improving the urban environment in Asenovgrad and in particular the development of the central zone of the city. The aim of the project is to give an identical, unified and memorable look, while at the same time offering a solution for strengthening the construction of the square area. The investment project covers partly the space area and the whole level II and III of "Acad. Nikolay Haytov" square. According to it, dismantling of existing flooring in the scope of both levels and existing stairs and installation of new flooring are envisaged. Construction of a permanent outdoor stage that can be used for organized events, performances, informal events, public events and more. Construction of rock gardens and amphitheater recreation area. It is also envisaged to "raise" at level II by laying a new reinforced concrete slab. More complete drainage, new street and square lighting is planned, including the illumination of surrounding public buildings-City Library, Municipal Administration and the Ministry of Interior, construction of a video surveillance system, complete greening of the newly formed green areas, construction of an irrigation system, access to facilities for people with disabilities. The project tender is part of the Investment Program of the Municipality of Asenovgrad for the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Urban Reconstruction and Development of the City of Asenovgrad /IPURD/ for the period 2014-2020. The planned interventions are concentrated in the planned area of public functions of high public importance. In addition to the construction and installation work, the project also includes project management activities, copyright and construction supervision, information and communication, as well as independent project audit.
