Modernization of education infrastructure in the field of pre-school and school education

Project "Modernization of educational infrastructure in the field of pre-school and school education" has been prepared in accordance with the approved IPURD of Montana Municipality aimed at improving the quality of living standards, social integration, restoration and conservation of cultural and natural heritage ​​and development of environmental infrastructure leading to sustainable and balanced development, and modernization of technical infrastructure and urban environment. In the long term the implementation of the IPURD will help achieve the vision of the city that defines the city of Montana as a dynamically developing agglomeration center with competitive economy, high employment and clean enhanced urban environment with care for people in the 2020 perspective. Under Priority Axis 1 "Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development" the project activities match the implementation of the investment priority "Investments in education, training, including vocational training for skills and lifelong learning by developing education infrastructure and training infrastructure . " The groups of objects that will be included in the project in order to achieve that investment priority and which are included in the segregated urban areas with a specific social nature and public importance included in IPURD are: - Kindergarten 7 "Prikazen sviat": building and yard; - Kindergarten 4 "Kalinka": building and yard; - IV-th High School "Ivan Vazov" and school "Dr Petar Beron": building, gymnasium and yard; - PMG "St. Kliment Ohridski " and Foreign Language High School "Petar Bogdan": building, gymnasium and yard. Within these projects will be implemented all mandatory energy saving measures provided for in the elaborated energy efficiency audit and will be performed activities for the reconstruction and renovation of the buildings and adjacent yards and the improvement of the access of persons with disabilities to those buildings.
