The project "Provision of modern social housing for accommodation of vulnerable groups of the population on the territory of Mladost residential complex, Montana" envisages the provision of appropriate social infrastructure through repair of existing municipal housing for accommodation of vulnerable and disadvantaged population groups. By providing modern living conditions, in combination with adequately selected measures to strengthen social inclusion and integration will create a supportive environment for positive social change and a prerequisite for improving the quality and standard of living for representatives of selected target groups: homeless people and / or those living in very poor living conditions and parents with children, incl. minor parents, large families, children with deteriorating health and disabilities. The achieved results will contribute to the progress of the targeted policy in the field of social inclusion of disadvantaged and vulnerable people, harmonizing with modern standards for sustainable and balanced social development. No rent is provided for the renovated municipal housing. This project proposal will be implemented in accordance with the National Strategy of Republic of Bulgaria for Roma Integration 2012 - 2020. Measures to provide social housing for marginalized groups, including Roma, will be combined with other types of interventions, including those in education, health, social inclusion and employment, which in itself leads to an integrated approach. In addition, the chosen housing location will ensure spatial integration of the target groups as a whole and will not contribute to their segregation, isolation or exclusion.
