Construction of a shelter in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa

The overall objective of the project proposal is: Social inclusion and meeting the social services needs of the most vulnerable members of the community as well as better living conditions for all the citizens of the town and the municipality, balanced territorial development and social services development.The project proposal will contribute to meeting the needs of shelter, food and other social services for the social inclusion of 15 homeless people.The project has the following specific objectives: - To meet 15 homeless people`s need of the community-based social service of residential kind - shelter; - To provide an adequate municipal infrastructure for the provision of the community-based social service of residential kind - shelter - for 15 homeless people; - To contribute to the social inclusion and better living conditions for 15 of the most vulnerable members of the community; - To contribute to the balanced development of the urban territory through the construction of a shelter for homeless people within the social area of impact in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The project objectives will be achieved through the implementation of several main activities: Construction of a shelter for homeless people, including the adjacent yard; Exercising of supervision by the building designers team as well as construction supervision; Delivery and assembly of equipment and furnishings for the shelter building. Once the project is implemented, the major result will be a constructed, equipped and furnished shelter with a capacity of accommodating 15 homeless people. The project amount is 745 778,88 BGN and its duration is 30 months. The project implementation team consists of a project manager, an investment control expert, a public procurement expert, a technical assistant and an accountant.
