Energy efficiency of an administrative building for the provision of social services in Gorna Oryahovitsa

The overall objective of the project proposal is: To increase energy efficiency and to reach at least C class of energy consumption in the public sector as well as to contribute to environmental protection and balanced territorial development The project has the following specific objectives: 1. To increase energy efficiency of an administrative building for the provision of social services located in the area of public importance of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa; 2. To reduce the annual primary energy consumption by 312 733 kWh per year and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 79.12 t CO2 per year; 3. To improve the working condition for 46 individuals working at the administrative building; 4. To ensure access to basic services for 2065 people with physical diasabilities at the territory of the municipality by architectural improvements. The project objectives will be achieved through the implementation of several key activities related to: engineering, including: preparation of an investment project, energy efficiency and repairs of the administrative building as well as exercising of supervision by the designers team; preparation of an assessment of compliance report; approval of the investment project by the chief architect of the municipality and issuing a construction permit; construction supervision. Once the project is implemented, the main measurable result will be increased energy efficiency of an administrative building for the provision of social services, located in the area of public importance of Gorna Oryahovitsa town. The project proposal amount is 804 172.13 BGN and its duration is 30 months. The project implementation team consists of a project manager, an investment control expert, a public procurement expert, a technical assistant and an accountant.
