Improvement of the educational infrastructure in Dupnitsa

The project "Improving the Educational Infrastructure in Dupnitsa" has been prepared according to the approved IPGRD of the Municipality of Dupnitsa, aimed at improving the quality of life, social integration, restoration and protection of cultural and natural values ​​and development of ecological infrastructure leading to sustainable and balanced development and modernization of the technical infrastructure and the urban environment. In long term, the implementation of the URBR will help to achieve the vision of the city that defines Dupnitsa as a dynamically developing agglomeration center with a competitive economy, high levels of employment and a well-developed city center with care for people in perspective by 2020. In the context of Priority Axis 1 "Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development", the current project activities meet the implementation of the investment priority "Investment in education, training, including vocational training to acquire skills and lifelong learning by building educational and training infrastructure ". The groups of sites and interventions included in the project in order to achieve the stated investment priority and which are in the separate urban territories of predominantly social character and public importance, in the investment progrm, are the following: establishment of a new kindergarten and Primary School "Neofit Rilski". All mandatory energy saving measures will be implemented within these sites and the activities will be carried out for the reconstruction and renovation of the buildings with the yard spaces and improvement of the accessibility of the disabled to the said buildings.
