The project envisages the reorganization of a former boarding house of technical high school in chemistry "Professor Dr. Assen Zlatarov" into a Centre for Temporary Accommodation, Dimitrovgrad Municipality for 20 users, aiming at providing similar to the family care to people who are temporarily or permanently homeless. The subject of intervention is situated in Regulated Plot I, square 129, of the City Plan. The Centre will provide a complex of social services to homeless people to satisfy their everyday needs. The Project Proposal has a completed investment project design, compliant to all the requirements of the MLSP and Ministry of Health. A ramp for access to disadvantaged people will also be built. Rebuilding the existing building will not remove brick-bearing walls, but only some non-bearing ones in the toilets of the first and second levels. The new partitions will be made of suitable modern materials. On the site of intervention will be implemented measures for thermal insulation, replacement of the joinery and new roof structure. The Centre will have five storage rooms, a laundry and ironing room and a storage room for clean and dirty linen. On the first floor there will be two separate compartments for two users, a reception office, a staff office, a reception for the disabled, a medical sector, a dining room and a kitchen. At the next level there will be eight more compartments for two users, shared bathrooms and a cabinet.
