The project proposal is part of the Investment programme for implementation of the Integrated plan for urban restoration and development of Petrich municipality 2014-2020. Its implementation will lead to improvement of the urban environment and improvement of the quality of life of the population in Petrich as a whole. The discrepancies between certain parts of the town will be overcome and this will lead to meeting needs of citywide importance and improvement of the quality of living environment. The project foresees complete renovation of a regulated land plot, destined for town park, including replacement of the depreciated alley network, lighting, greenery, construction of a lake, climbing wall and playgrounds for different age groups, as well as positioning of different elements of garden furniture (benches, fountains, waste bins etc.) The project contributes to improvement of the competitiveness of Petrich and the municipality, since the planned activities will lead not only to safer urban environment, but also a urban environment of high ecological and aesthetic quality. On the other hand, this will attract new investors, tourists and guests.
