Renovation of the educational infrastructure and the respective yard space in schools and kindergartens in Petrich

The project is part of the Investment programme for implementation of the Integrated plan for urban restoration and development of Petrich municipality 2014-2020. One of the main goals of the project is to guarantee the access to high quality education through investments in the municipal educational infrastructure. The project is in compliance with Priority 1.4. from the Integrated plan: Investment in education, skills and lifelong learning through construction of educational infrastructure. It is crucial for Petrich municipality to invest in the high quality, competitiveness and effectiveness of the education, which is in close relation with the teaching conditions - i.e. the respective infrastructure. It is important to develop the the educational infrastructure because if its direct relation with the economic development. Petrich is in a very favorable demographic state compared to other towns in the country. This powerful tool must be used and developed. The educational infrastructure is important in the context of the easier incorporation of the educational choice with the market needs and of the easier integration of young people into the labor market. The project will also contribute to social problem prevention, as they are expensive for the society, also to teach them the basic working habits. The project will also contribute to the reduction of students leaving school before graduation. The goal will be reached through investment in educational infrastructure of Petrich municipality. The foreseen activities are related to energy efficiency, improvement of the buildings and will create attractive educational environment in the schools from the influence zones. The potential full-day organisation of the educational process will be possible through improvement of the infrastructure, recreation and sport zones for the students.
